24 Hour Indian DROPSHIPPING Challenge With INSTAGRAM PAGE ? Live Sales & Profit Reveal! ??
Introduction
Hey everyone, welcome back to my 24-hour Indian dropshipping challenge with Instagram collaboration! Today, I'll take you through the entire journey of setting up a dropshipping business, selecting a fan page for promotion, and revealing all live sales and profits within 24 hours.
Step 1: Find Winning Products for Dropshipping
For successful dropshipping, it's crucial to find a trending or marketable product. I headed to Roposo.com, a popular platform for dropshipping products. Given the current rainy season, I chose a product that immediately caught my eye: a Reuse Rain Coat Set of Five. This pocket raincoat is easy to carry and perfect for the season. The product cost, including shipping, was ₹241, and I intended to sell it for around ₹4400-₹5000.
Step 2: Create or Find Ads for Dropshipping Product
There are two ways to get ads: create and edit them yourself or find ready-made ads. For this challenge, I opted for the latter. I used a tool called YouTube2 Maya, which helps find high-quality ads for e-commerce and dropshipping products. The tool also provides crucial data like ad engagement, targeted audience, and more. By using this tool, I was able to download and utilize several effective ads for my raincoat product.
Step 3: Promotion Strategy
I decided to promote my product through a fan page on Instagram. This was challenging since the fan page audience primarily seeks entertainment rather than shopping. I connected with a subscriber who managed a Munawar Faruqui fan page with over 4 lakh followers. The deal was set: he would upload my story for 24 hours. To make the promotion more enticing, I created a coupon code "Munawar" for a ₹200 discount.
Step 4: Live Sales Tracking
As soon as the ad was posted, I received the first sale within 4 minutes, amounting to ₹6699. Interestingly, this sale was for a different product, the Two-in-One Bath and Shampoo Brush, not the raincoat. But soon enough, more sales for the actual raincoat started coming in.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of what happened next:
- First Sale (₹6699): Different product
- Second Sale (₹6699): Raincoat
- Third Sale (₹4999): Used "Munawar" coupon for a ₹200 discount
- Fourth Sale (₹4999): Used "Munawar" coupon
Final Results After 24 Hours
Despite a strong start, sales slowed down significantly later in the day. No additional sales were recorded the entire night. By the end of the 24-hour period, we had a total of four sales:
- Four Orders: One for a different product, three for the raincoat
- Total Sales Value: Approximately ₹20,994
- Total Profit: Around ₹1,380 after accounting for product costs and discounts.
