$ 46,000 in 1 Month Using TikTok Shop Affiliate + Dropshipping

In early January, I embarked on a journey to explore dropshipping combined with TikTok Shop affiliate marketing. Over the past 10 days alone, the same product garnered $ 8.3k in revenue across two TikTok accounts. This article chronicles my venture, providing insights into both dropshipping and affiliate selling on TikTok Shop, and how these methods can bring substantial success.

The Dropshipping Journey Begins

Initially, I started with dropshipping the "carry it all" product which showed promising signs. The product began to sell from day one, leading to $ 450 in sales. This early success vindicated my confidence in the product. By day two, sales totaled $ 219.95 by 11:01 a.m.

However, scaling too rapidly on day two highlighted the product’s potential further. Despite over-scaling, the day’s sales reached $ 385 in total. This affirmed the product’s value as I continued optimizing.

Here’s the revealing part—10 days prior, an account named "My Carry All" captured my attention with a viral video that accumulated 17 million views. The overwhelmingly positive comments and millions of views convinced me I had a winning product at hand.

But since I couldn’t rely on organic content due to my gender and familiarity, I pivoted to paid ads. Gathering all existing video content, I developed my own advertisements which started showing returns.

Still, several areas needed adjustments:

  1. Website Optimization: High traffic but low conversions required improvements.
  2. Pricing Strategy: Finding the optimal price point; my experiment indicated $ 75 might work better than $ 55.
  3. Ad Optimization: Letting TikTok's algorithm enhance ad performance before scaling heavily.

I refinanced the product price to $ 75, leading to sporadic orders but validating that $ 65 might be an ideal middle ground. Daily sales showed fluctuating but positive figures between $ 26 and $ 453 over days six and seven. Interestingly, upsells added substantial value to the average order.

Challenges and Transition

Around day eight, ad creative started underperforming without the actual product on hand to film new ads. Consequently, the process paused until the TikTok Shop component entered the scene around February 10th.

TikTok Shop Affiliate Strategy

Upon receiving the product, I began a new TikTok Shop account, yielding remarkable results—

  • @mikes_products reached $ 7,000 in sales and $ 11,000 in commissions within 14 days.
  • Posts on this account drew significant engagement, leading to multiple sales per video.

My collaborative account, @mik_andom_finds, also thrived, hitting $ 59,000 in sales and $ 850 in commissions from February 15th onwards. Notably, our viral video strategy leveraging problem-solving content resulted in repetitive success.

Despite each account hitting a performance plateau, old videos smoothly maintained revenue. The essence became clear—iterating new accounts for an initial rush, utilizing old videos for consistent passive income, and dynamically optimizing strategies.

Conclusion and Future Prospects

Bringing it all together, in about a month, these efforts totaled around $ 46,000 in sales. Linked to creating fresh accounts and refining strategies, I foresee ongoing success and income sustainability. I'm currently exploring becoming a direct supplier, allowing better commission offers and amplifying profits.

This journey has been incredibly rewarding, underscoring the potential of blending dropshipping with TikTok Shop affiliate marketing. As I continue experimenting, more insights will likely follow in future updates. Stay tuned.
