72 Hour TikTok Dropshipping Challenge With NO MONEY

72 Hour TikTok Dropshipping Challenge With NO MONEY

In today's video, the goal is to find a winning product, create a website, market the product, and get sales all within the next 72 hours. Watch this video to the end to see if I can complete this challenge. Let's dive straight into finding our winning product.

One of the biggest challenges with dropshipping is finding a product that is both profitable and in demand. The product must meet three essential criteria: it must have a wow factor, solve a problem, and have viral potential. I'll be using TikTok to find our winning product by searching for hashtags like #AmazonBestFinds and #ProductsYouNeed. To avoid saturated products, I'll filter my search results by the last month to see what’s gone viral recently.

After scrolling and researching for about two hours, I finally found a promising product: an astronaut-shaped Galaxy projector. This product has high viral potential and is attention-grabbing. It also has good profit margins, as I can sell it for at least double the price I found on AliExpress.

Next, I need to order the product from Amazon so I can make my TikToks with it. The 72 hours begin once the product arrives. I found it for just under $ 50 on Amazon and ordered it.

Five Days Later

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the Galaxy Astronaut Projector. This product works as advertised, and I believe it can be a hit. Now, it's time to build the website.

I opted to use Shopify to build the store, given its ease of use and affordability. I also added essential apps like Booster for faster website loading, DSers for product sourcing, and Tidio for live chat support. The store theme I chose is the Debutify theme, known for its high conversion rates.

Building the Website

After three hours, the store is complete. It features an announcement bar, clean images, a YouTube unboxing video, and a user-friendly design. The product page, which is most critical, includes eye-catching animations and a compelling product description. Importantly, the store uses only three colors to maintain a clean look.

Marketing the Product

For marketing, I'll post organic TikTok videos without paying for ads. The plan is to post two to three times a day to maximize visibility. Let's take a look at the first three TikToks I posted.

  1. The first TikTok showcases the product in use.
  2. The second TikTok highlights the product's features.
  3. The third TikTok shows a fun aspect of the product.

Day Two

On the second day, the TikToks only garnered a few hundred views, and the Shopify store received four sessions but no sales. I posted new TikToks for day two with hopes of better engagement.

Day Three

The third day arrived, and the results were still underwhelming. The new TikToks received similar low engagement. However, the first TikTok surprisingly gained traction with nearly 9,000 views. This led to 233 store sessions and five items added to carts, although no sales were made.

In conclusion, despite the challenge's tight timeline, the first TikTok performed well, proving the potential of organic marketing. More effort and time might translate to actual sales.
