AMAZON FBA - TIKTOK ADS + LANDING PAGE + AMAZON STORE - TIKTOK PIXEL INTEGRATION IS NOT EVERYWHERE

Are you looking for multiple passive streams of income? In this article, we will discuss how you can leverage TikTok ads, a landing page, and an Amazon store to generate income. We will also explore considerations and mistakes to avoid when implementing this advertising strategy.

Considerations for Your Advertising Strategy

When planning your advertising strategy, there are several considerations to keep in mind. TikTok ads are relatively new, having been introduced in mid-2020. If you have experience with platforms like Facebook and Google Ads, the TikTok ads manager will feel familiar to you.

One important step in creating your TikTok ad campaign is generating a TikTok pixel. A pixel is a piece of computer code that tracks users who click onto your landing page, email template, or website. It provides valuable data for creating look-alike audiences and retargeting campaigns.

However, not all landing pages, email templates, and websites have TikTok pixel integration. It is crucial to ensure that the platform you plan to use supports TikTok pixel integration before proceeding. This was a mistake I made when creating a landing page with Mailchimp, as it does not currently offer TikTok pixel integration.

In my search for an alternative, I discovered Linktree, which surprisingly supports TikTok pixel integration. However, my TikTok ad was eventually stopped due to TikTok's disapproval of Linktree. Another solution I explored was Pixel Fi, a URL shortener that allows for pixel integration. Unfortunately, Pixel Fi does not yet support TikTok integration.

Ultimately, I settled on using Shopify as my landing page platform since it already had a TikTok app that could generate the necessary pixel and connect directly to the TikTok ad manager.

Leveraging TikTok Ads and Amazon Store

As an Amazon seller, you cannot place pixel codes directly on Amazon pages. Many sellers use landing pages or URL shorteners, like Pixel Fi, to collect pixel data and bridge the gap between TikTok ads and their Amazon listings.

By driving traffic to a landing page, you have the opportunity to provide additional information about your product or service before directing customers to your Amazon page. This can be beneficial in showcasing multiple products and increasing click-through rates on Amazon.

However, an even better option is to drive traffic to your Amazon store. If you are brand registered on Amazon, you can create an Amazon store that showcases your products exclusively. This ensures that potential customers only see your products, reducing the likelihood of them clicking away to a competitor's product.

Creating TikTok Ads for Non-Trendy Products

If you sell a niche or non-trendy product, you may need to think outside the box when creating TikTok ads. Hiring freelancers from platforms like Fiverr can be a cost-effective solution. For example, I hired a dancer to perform a dance routine related to my product and then had a video editor enhance the footage with graphics and effects.

Targeting Options on TikTok Ads and Shopify Landing Pages

TikTok offers various targeting options, including countries, languages, genders, age groups, interests, behaviors, and device types. While TikTok may not initially seem like a suitable platform for all products, it is worth researching their targeting options in more depth.

Shopify provides a drag-and-drop landing page creation option through apps like Pagefly. Although Shopify is not as user-friendly as Mailchimp, it currently offers the most affordable landing page option with TikTok pixel integration.

Creating an Amazon Store and Using Sponsored Brand PPC

Creating an Amazon store is a relatively straightforward process, and Amazon provides templates and tools to help you customize your store pages. As a brand registered seller, you can drive Amazon PPC traffic to your store page rather than directly to your product page. This allows you to showcase your products exclusively and potentially increase sales conversions.
