Technology plays a crucial role in solving the complexity of supply chains, providing real-time inventory updates, and enabling data-driven decision making.

In terms of technology, Mr. Ravi Mathur highlights that different geographies may require different approaches. He suggests that India is poised for omni-channel success, but smaller organizations may need to adapt their strategies to their specific needs and resources.

Mr. Rishabh Gupta adds that technology plays a vital role in optimizing the omni-channel supply chain, particularly in providing trackability and traceability of goods. He also mentions the importance of integrating different software platforms and solutions to create an end-to-end seamless experience.

Regarding inventory optimization with dark stores and blanket models, the panelists explain that these models often focus on fast-moving inventory and create redundancies in inventory. The key is to prioritize availability rather than optimization in these models.
