HOW TO GROW ON TIKTOK | 400k + in 3 months, growth tips + strategy

Introduction

Hello, welcome back to my channel! I am Behringer, a digital online creator. If you're new here, today's video is all about how to grow on TikTok. I have accumulated 1.3 million followers in 9 months and grown my dad's TikTok to 400,000 followers in just three months. Today, I am sharing everything I have learned about TikTok growth - no secrets held back.

Understanding TikTok

To grow on TikTok, you must understand the platform. TikTok is a video app where shorter videos typically perform better. Spend time consuming content, see what catches your attention, what you like or dislike, and take notes to understand what works on TikTok.

Creating Content

The important part is to create. It might be scary at first to get on camera, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. You don’t even need to be in the videos yourself. For instance, I make food videos, many of which do not feature me.

One effective strategy is to post frequently. For quick growth, post as many times as possible – ideally three to five videos a day. This can seem like a lot, but by time batching content creation, you can make a ton of videos in just an hour and post them throughout the days.

Learning from Your Content

Once you start posting, learn from your results. Take note of what does well and double down on successful content. In my case, a fruit bowl video went viral, so I created more similar videos, which led to millions of views.

Interacting with Your Audience

Engage with your audience. Reply to comments as this interaction helps boost your video visibility in TikTok's algorithm. Each reply will warrant more traction as users revisit the video to see your response.

Provide value in your content. Whether it's comedy, education, or commentary, ensure there's something in it for the viewer. Also, keep an eye on trends. Following trends can give your content an additional boost. Use TikTok trend-watching accounts to stay updated.

Quality of Content

High-quality videos perform better. Use good lighting and optimize your phone settings for better video quality. Use TikTok's features for text overlays and voiceovers directly within the app to make your content more appealing.

Hashtags

Use relevant hashtags. Avoid generic ones like #fyp. Instead, utilize trending hashtags related to your content to boost visibility. Limit your hashtags to around three per post for best results.

Editor Tools

For editing, use apps like Splice for more sophisticated editing needs. However, TikTok’s built-in editing tools can be sufficient.

Engaging with Your Community

Interact with commenters, especially on videos doing well. But avoid engaging in arguments. Leave controversial comments be or delete them if necessary.

Monetizing on TikTok

Once you have built a following (~200,000 followers or more), consider joining the TikTok Creator Fund to get paid for your views. Brands may also approach you for sponsored content.

Conclusion

In summary, consume content to learn, create consistently, adapt based on feedback, engage genuinely with your audience, and follow trends. Be patient and don't give up. Start today by creating your first video!
