Whether you're based in Europe and want to advertise to people in the US, or if you're based in the US and want to target other countries like the UK, Australia, or New Zealand, this video will guide you through the process. Surprisingly, you don't even need a US phone number to achieve this. So, let's get started!

First, let me give you a quick background. I've been documenting my journey of starting new dropshipping stores in order to determine if dropshipping is still a viable business model in 2022. For the first seven months of my journey, I faced numerous failures and losses, until I finally found a winning product that consistently brings me profits. Now, I'm in the process of scaling and expanding my advertising efforts to multiple countries, which brings us to the topic of this video.

To create a TikTok ad account for a different country, you will need a VPN (I recommend NordVPN) and an email address that hasn't been used with TikTok before. Let's go through the process step by step:

Connect to a US server using your VPN.
Visit tiktok.com/business. This will redirect you to the US page.
Click on "Create New Account" to start the sign-up process.
Fill out the form with your email address and password. Make sure to use an email that hasn't been associated with TikTok before.
Click on "Send Code" to receive a verification code to your email.
Enter the code and agree to the terms and conditions.
Complete the sign-up process by entering your details, such as industry, business name (or your own name), time zone, telephone number, and currency.
Click on "Register" to create your account.
You will be taken to your TikTok Ads Manager page.

Now, your account is almost ready. You may need to provide a US address, but it's unclear if this step is necessary for everyone. In my case, I used a random address from Alabama, but it's unlikely that TikTok will send any bills or correspondence to this address. Once your account is created, you can update your details, such as your telephone number, as needed. You can now start creating and running ads targeting the desired country.

And that's it! You now have a TikTok ad account that allows you to target any location in the world. Remember, you may need to use the VPN when initially creating the account, but after that, you can log in from your usual IP address without any issues.
