I Tried Affiliate Marketing With No Money For 1 Week

I recently took on a challenge to make 1,000inoneweekthroughaffiliatemarketing,startingfromscratch.Idocumentedtheentireprocessandwillsharethedetailswithyou.Ifyoureinterestedinlearninghowtogofromzeroto1,000 in one week through affiliate marketing, starting from scratch. I documented the entire process and will share the details with you. If you're interested in learning how to go from zero to 1,000 in just a week, stay tuned until the end of this article.

Step 1: Choosing a Niche

The first task was to select a niche to promote. There are numerous profitable niches available, such as cooking, finance, fitness, and self-development. For this challenge, I decided to focus on the business niche as it typically yields higher earning potential.

Step 2: Setting Up Social Media Accounts

Next, I created theme pages on TikTok and Pinterest to promote my affiliate links. These platforms were chosen due to their ease of growth. I used the username "WealthyBillionaire" and designed a profile picture using Canva.

To start promoting, I needed affiliate links to promote on my social media pages. I explored websites like impact.com and clickbank.com, my personal favorites for finding affiliate offers. After signing up and getting approved, I found an affiliate link where I could earn commissions for reviewing apps and signed up for the Coinbase affiliate program as well.

Step 4: Advertising Strategy

With my affiliate links in hand, I was ready to start advertising. However, I had to wait for my impact.com account to get approved. In the meantime, I planned my advertising strategy. I decided to leverage viral videos on TikTok and Pinterest to drive traffic to my affiliate links. I searched for popular videos in the business and money motivation niche, saving and eventually recreating them using Canva or downloading them from snaptik.app.

Step 5: Social Media Growth and Promotion

I began posting 2-4 videos daily on TikTok and Pinterest, making sure to have at least six viral videos to kickstart the growth of my TikTok account. It took less than 24 hours to reach 1,000 followers on TikTok, allowing me to include my link tree in my bio and drive users to my affiliate links. Meanwhile, Pinterest required more consistent posting over a few weeks to gain traction.

Results

After running the challenge for nine days, I made progress on both platforms. On TikTok, 21 people signed up for the Shopify free trial, and six signed up for Robinhood. Although there were no sign-ups for the Coinbase and ClickBank programs, these results are still impressive.

For the Robinhood program, I made 30incommissions,withthepotentialtoearnmoreifusersmakedepositsintotheiraccounts.WithShopify,foreveryuserwhopaidfortheirfirstmonthafterthethreemonthtrialperiod,Icouldearn30 in commissions, with the potential to earn more if users make deposits into their accounts. With Shopify, for every user who paid for their first month after the three-month trial period, I could earn 150. Assuming about 30 out of the 21 sign-ups proceed to pay, I estimate a potential commission of 900.Althoughthe900. Although the 1,000 target was not reached in one week, the ongoing potential for earning $2,000 per month is promising.
