TikTok and NBA Collaborate for Unforgettable Moments at the 69th NBA All-Star Game
As an official partner of the NBA, TikTok showcased the unforgettable moments from the 69th NBA All-Star Game. The event brought together creators, teams, athletes, and viewers, making it a special experience for everyone involved. To catch up on all the exciting content surrounding the game, check out #AllStarMoment on TikTok.
One of the highlights was the collaboration between TikTok and the NBA, where top athletes and creators came together to perform the viral dance 'Renegade' to K-Camp's song 'Lottery.' Jalaiah Harmon, the talented choreographer behind Renegade, joined forces with Charli D'Amelio, one of TikTok's Top 10 Breakout Creators of 2019, and several other creators to showcase their dancing skills on one of the world's largest stages.
Before the game, Jalaiah had a fun behind-the-scenes collaboration opportunity with TikTok creator Addison Easterling, Charli, and Dixie D'Amelio. They decided to create a TikTok video featuring the popular dance together. Charli expressed her happiness and admiration for Jalaiah, saying, 'I am so happy that she was able to teach me the original choreography that she made. She is the best!'
During one of the game breaks, Jalaiah teamed up with the All-Star team and joined Benny the Bull for an on-court TikTok collaboration, adding more excitement to the event.
In addition, Nike brought back the #TheReplay challenge on TikTok for the NBA All-Star 2020 game. They invited the TikTok community to share videos of their best star all-star moves on the court for a chance to be featured on a future episode of Nike PLAYlist. Even Mbappé and LeBron took on the challenge, showcasing their skills and adding to the thrill of the game.
For more basketball content, fans can follow the official @NBA account on TikTok, as well as the NBA teams' own accounts, including the Chicago Bulls' @bennythebull, the Milwaukee Bucks' @bucks, and the New Orleans Pelicans' @pelicansnba.
The collaboration between talented creators, NBA athletes, and organizations has been truly remarkable. Congratulations to all the creators, teams, and athletes who participated in the All-Star Weekend. We eagerly look forward to next year's #AllStarMoment!
