Celebrating National Doctors' Day and Supporting Healthcare Heroes

As the global COVID-19 crisis continues, we have witnessed an incredible display of support for our healthcare workers. Communities have come together to show appreciation for nurses and doctors, with positive messages written in hospital parking lots and cheers from quarantined balconies. It is heartwarming to see the emotions of joy and relief experienced by healthcare workers during these challenging times. Medical teams have even resorted to dancing to emphasize the importance of staying at home. We have seen doctors from the US applauding the arrival of doctors from Cuba, who have come to assist their colleagues in Italy. ER nurses have also found moments of respite, joining in on popular trends during their breaks.

Today is National Doctors' Day, and it is the perfect opportunity to unite and acknowledge the incredible healthcare community. Now more than ever, we need to celebrate and recognize the heroism of healthcare professionals who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. To honor our healthcare workers, we have created a special sticker on our app to encourage our TikTok community to join in the celebration. Outside of the app, we are doing our part to support healthcare workers by donating to the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and matching employee donations to Direct Relief. This helps provide essential medical items for health workers responding to the coronavirus. Additionally, we have assisted in procuring masks for heavily impacted hospitals in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York.
