Arab Heritage Month: Celebrating Arab Culture on TikTok

April is Arab Heritage Month in the United States, a time to honor and showcase the contributions, heritage, and culture of the Arab American community. The Arab community in the U.S. has made a vibrant and far-reaching impact in various aspects such as music, fashion, cuisine, and trends.

On TikTok, the Arab American community actively shares their culture and creativity through storytelling, historical highlights, recipe sharing, and showcasing Arab music and dance. This month, we will shine a spotlight on these incredible stories through the hashtag #ArabTikTok and live programming that brings the community together for connection, education, and celebration.

The #ArabTikTok community on TikTok is thriving, with creators, commenters, and live streamers showcasing Arab culture on a daily basis, accumulating billions of views. Videos under the hashtags #TikTokArab, #Arab, and #ArabTikTok have collectively garnered over 55 billion video views. Notable creators from the Arab American community, such as culinary expert @thegoldenbalance, science creator @dominic, and relatable content creators @marynouraa and @itsmetinx, continue to raise the bar and make a significant impact on TikTok.

Throughout April, we will not only celebrate Arab heritage but also elevate Arab voices, stories, and perspectives. The TikTok community will have access to a month of in-app experiences and live programming that highlights the unique culture and community of #ArabTikTok.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Arab Heritage Month and the enriching experience that #ArabTikTok brings to TikTok.
