TikTok Brings John Lennon's Music to Its Community on His 80th Birthday

TikTok has announced that it is bringing the music of John Lennon to its community on what would have been his 80th birthday. In partnership with The Lennon Estate and Universal Music Group, a dedicated account has been launched in his memory. Users worldwide now have access to 11 of Lennon's most iconic solo musical works for their video creations. These include songs like "Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)," "Imagine," "Mind Games," "Beautiful Boy," "Woman," "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," "Give Peace a Chance," "Stand By Me," "Nobody Told Me," "Remember," and "Gimme Some Truth."

To celebrate this milestone, TikTok has also launched a global hashtag challenge, #GimmeSomeTruth, in recognition of Lennon's 1971 protest song. The challenge encourages fans to create content using his music and message of peace and love. Sean Ono Lennon, announcing his father's arrival on TikTok, expressed excitement and anticipation for the creative content that fans from all over the world will produce.
