TikTok Announces Global Partnership with Shopify

TikTok has announced a global partnership with Shopify that will enable over 1 million merchants to create and run campaigns directly targeted at TikTok's highly engaged community. This partnership aims to provide simple and scalable solutions for businesses to engage with the TikTok community and expand their audience.

TikTok For Business Platform

On TikTok, businesses of all sizes can grow their brands through creative content and storytelling. The TikTok For Business platform allows brands worldwide to connect with users by embracing the unique culture of the platform. Social commerce has become increasingly important for merchants to expand their audience, and TikTok is excited to provide simple and scalable solutions for businesses to engage with the TikTok community.

Benefits for Shopify Merchants

Through the partnership with Shopify, merchants can access core functions of the TikTok For Business Ads Manager without leaving the Shopify dashboard. This includes installing or connecting their TikTok Pixel with ease, making it quicker and easier to track conversions. Merchants can also create campaigns, target audiences, and track performance in one place. The TikTok channel enables Shopify merchants to create native, shareable ads that resonate with the community, using TikTok's intuitive creative tools to turn their products into high-quality TikToks in minutes. Eligible merchants can claim a $300 ad credit to jumpstart their first TikTok campaign.

Collaboration on #ShopBlack Campaign

In addition to the partnership, TikTok and Shopify are collaborating on the #ShopBlack campaign, which aims to celebrate and amplify Black-owned businesses. This campaign includes a custom branded effect, music, and content from top creators. From November 10-15, the TikTok community will be able to explore products from over 40 Shopify merchants directly through the #ShopBlack hashtag and branded effect.
