Kristine, the creator behind @trendycurvy, is passionate about plus size fashion and promotes self-love at any size. Her videos range from recreating celebrity outfits for people with her body type to sharing body positive affirmations and uplifting messages for her community. Kristine's authentic content spreads positivity and inspires others.

Kristine started creating on TikTok to showcase women who look like her. She found TikTok to be a unique platform and her first video was a fun one that made light of the quarantine period.

TikTok is the right platform for Kristine's content because it allows her to be real and raw. Video content on TikTok enables a deeper connection with the audience compared to just photos. Her content revolves around loving oneself at any size, and TikTok provides her the opportunity to be her authentic self.

Kristine's favorite TikTok video is one that has received the highest number of views. In this video, she addresses the misrepresentation of larger women in society and the media. She showcases the difference between how they are viewed and how they actually are – confident and stylish. This video has garnered over 5.2 million views.

What lights a fire in Kristine is overcoming the odds. As a Black person, she faces numerous statistics, percentages, and roadblocks. However, when she succeeds and demonstrates black excellence, there is no feeling like it.

When asked about a Black historical figure who inspires her, Kristine mentions Michelle Obama. She describes Michelle Obama as the epitome of beauty, class, grace, poise, education, and excellence.

For new creators, Kristine advises them to be themselves. TikTok thrives on originality, and there are countless unique accounts on the platform. There is sure to be an audience and community that can relate to their content.

Being a Trailblazer is an incredible honor for Kristine. While she doesn't view herself as someone who blazes trails, she sees herself as a girl who tries every day to love herself and shares that journey with others. She believes that being a Trailblazer represents the women she gives a voice to and the community she has created.
