TikTok Launches Donation Stickers to Support Charities

TikTok has introduced a new in-app feature called Donation Stickers, which allows creators to raise funds for charities and causes they care about. This feature is designed to further support the TikTok community in making a positive impact.

Donation Stickers are interactive and can be embedded directly in videos and TikTok LIVE streams. Users can tap on the Donation Sticker to submit a donation without leaving the app. Donations are processed securely through Tiltify, a charitable fundraising platform.

To kickstart the launch of Donation Stickers, TikTok has partnered with organizations that support vulnerable groups impacted by the pandemic. TikTok will also match user donations made through the Donation Stickers until May 27, doubling the impact of each contribution. Videos and TikTok LIVE streams that use the stickers will automatically have the hashtag #doubleyourimpact added.

The Actors Fund: Supporting entertainment professionals nationally.

To add a Donation Sticker, follow these steps:

In the editing page, click on the '[COVID-19]' Donation sticker.
Choose an organization.
Place the sticker on the video.
Add a caption and post! The hashtag #doubleyourimpact will be automatically added to the caption.
