Step 1: Create a Base Campaign

To start off with this special ad strategy, go to your ads dashboard. We'll start with a regular campaign. Here's how you set it up:

  1. Choose Conversions: Opt for conversions as your campaign goal.
  2. Set a Lifetime Budget: Set the campaign budget to a lifetime budget of $ 50 to ensure you don't spend more than that initially.
  3. Ad Group Settings:
    • Select your pixel and optimize for purchases.
    • Choose TikTok as the placement.
    • Set the targeting to include 25-55 year-olds.
    • Select relevant interests such as Home Improvement, Household Products, Baby Kids, Maternity, and Appliances.
    • Ensure your audience is large enough (over 50 million). If not, enable targeting expansion to include interest and behavior expansion.
  4. Daily Budget: Set the daily budget to over $ 100 for each ad group. Ensure this doesn't exceed your lifetime campaign budget of $ 50.
  5. Start Time: Schedule your ads to start the next day at midnight (00:00).
  6. Specific Times: Run the campaign from 6 AM to midnight daily.
  7. Upload Ad Creative: Add your logo, brand name, ad creative, caption, and URL of your store. Submit the campaign.

Step 2: Multiply

After the base campaign is set up, multiply it for better reach:

  1. Export the Ad: Select the campaign and export it as an Excel file.
  2. Modify in Excel:
    • Delete the campaign ID, ad group ID, and ad ID.
    • Create 501 rows of the same campaign.
    • Change the campaign name to a new one.
    • Copy and paste the new campaign name across all 501 rows.
    • Ensure each ad group has a different name by numbering them sequentially.
  3. Save the File: Export/save as an Excel file.

Step 3: Upload

Upload the modified Excel file back to your ads manager:

  1. Turn Off Initial Campaign: Disable the base campaign used for setup.
  2. Upload the File: Go to 'Bulk Create' > 'Import Ads' and upload the Excel file.
  3. Wait for Upload: The file upload process might take a few hours.

Step 4: Surf

Manage and optimize your ads:

  1. Initial Spend: Let your ads spend the initial $ 50.
  2. Increase Budget: Increase the campaign budget by $ 10 increments starting at 3 PM, then again at 5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 or 10 PM.
  3. Monitor Performance: Watch out for the performance and CPC.

Step 5: Scale

Achieve high ROAS and optimize for better results:

  1. Monitor Metrics: Track cost per click, conversions, and traffic.
  2. Repeat Increment: Continue the budget increase strategy for progressive results.
  3. Refresh Campaign: Keep refreshing the campaigns and optimizing for lower CPC and higher ROI.
