The Cascade Mountains of Washington are a beautiful place, and my friends have a tiny house with this incredible view. I got to visit them, stay over, and explore the area. My friend suggested a trip to the antique store in town. I've only been there once, and I haven't shown you folks my experience yet. I am excited to see what they have now.

One of the standout items was a hat we initially thought was American but turned out to be a French-made linen hat with intricate micro-beading from the 1950s, priced at $ 22. Next, we stumbled upon some pottery dogs labeled as Japanese German Shepherds, likely from the 1950s post-war era.

The store had a plethora of vintage items, ranging from pottery, glass, Belgium-made Desco Ware, British cheese domes, and Victorian-era vases. Prices were quite reasonable, often with sales and discounts. Unique finds like a beautifully painted 1930s Czech spatter glass vase and a Desco Ware Belgian enamelware piece caught our eyes.

Laurel's enthusiasm for specific items reminded me of our shared history. She once saved my bacon by helping during a staffing turnover. Today, her keen eyes discovered various gems, such as a decorative piece marked as Desco Ware, retailing at prices similar to collectible items like Le Creuset.
