TikTok Introduces Voiceover Feature for Creative Users

Creative users on TikTok are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical capability on their phones. To assist them, TikTok provides a comprehensive suite of editing tools that enable users to transform their ideas into shareable videos. The latest addition to this toolbox is the voiceover feature, which allows users to add their own voice to their videos.

Voiceovers have long been used in visual storytelling to enhance inner monologues, offer unique perspectives, and develop characters within a narrative. With this new tool, creators can narrate stories, add their own vocals to songs, or provide descriptions of what is happening on camera, opening up endless possibilities for engaging content.

Adding a voiceover adds a new dimension to videos, as demonstrated in a video by @ghosthoney. To add a voiceover, simply record a video, go to the editing page, tap the microphone icon labeled "Recording," press the record button to add a voiceover at any desired part of the video, and adjust the volume using the "Original sound" toggle.

TikTok's new voiceover feature is now available, offering users full control over their creative expression.
