Native American Heritage Month on TikTok
Native American Heritage Month on TikTok
Every November, the U.S. celebrates Native American Heritage Month to educate and promote understanding of the diverse and rich history of Indigenous and Native American people in the country. It is important to honor and appreciate the culture, achievements, and contributions of the first inhabitants of the U.S.
On TikTok, the #NativeFamily community is a vibrant and growing group of creators, users, and artists. Through family traditions, music, food, and dance, Native American stories are shared daily on TikTok. This month, we will continue sharing stories through #NativeFamily and special LIVE programming, as well as organizing a virtual event for Native creators to connect and collaborate.
The #NativeFamily on TikTok is a small but powerful community, with over 600K video views under #NativeFamily, more than 800M video views under #NativeTikTok, nearly 5M video views under #NativeAmericanTikTok, and over 100M video views under #IndigenousPeoplesDay. From popular creators like @420doggface208 to emerging talents like @geronimo.warrior and @giiwedinindizhinikaaz, and two-spirit creator @chokeacolaa, the Native American and Indigenous community on TikTok showcases creativity, authenticity, and diversity.
