I Found A Bug On My Strawberry And Grew 100 Of Them?
I Found A Bug On My Strawberry And Grew 100 Of Them??
I found a bug on my strawberry and, at first, thought it would grow into a beautiful butterfly. I took the little green caterpillar and placed it in my small animal kingdom, determined to be the best caterpillar mother ever. I added some oats and pieces of apple to make sure it had enough food. I patiently waited for several weeks, hoping to witness a metamorphosis.
When I checked on it after a few weeks, I was baffled to find numerous small bugs instead of green caterpillars. These tiny creatures didn't look like caterpillars or butterflies, and watching them made me itchy and confused. I couldn't understand why my green caterpillar hadn't transformed as expected. I had initially hoped for 100 butterflies, not these unknown bugs.
In anticipation of the butterfly's birth, I had even added several items that butterflies need to thrive. I obtained milkweed seed pods, which are the host plants for Monarch butterflies to lay their eggs on. My hope was not just to raise a butterfly but also to have a butterfly pet that would lay eggs on the milkweed leaves. However, things didn't go as planned.
