Import Products from Printful to Shopify with Canva Design | Free Dropshipping Course EP4
Hey friends, welcome back to this exclusive dropshipping course! In previous episodes, we've covered everything from buying and connecting a domain name to setting up your Shopify store and integrating Printful with Shopify. Now, in Episode 4, we're moving forward to create our first product using Printful and Canva, which we will then import into our Shopify store.
Our domain name is wiifire.com, and you'll get an in-depth look at every step we take—from marketing to SEO and Shopify development. This episode will show you how to create a product specifically for men to keep things manageable.
Step-by-Step Guide: Importing Products
Setting Up a Collection in Shopify
- Go to Shopify and create a new collection called "Men’s T-Shirt".
- Don’t worry about the SEO details right now; we’ll handle that later.
Using Printful
- Navigate to Printful’s product catalog and choose "Men's Clothing".
- Select a t-shirt that suits your needs, preferably in a color that makes your design pop (e.g., a white or black t-shirt).
- Click on "Create Product Template" to start designing.
Designing with Canva
- Go to Canva and choose or create your designs.
- Upload these designs to Printful.
- In this guide, we chose a simple white text design on a black t-shirt.
Adding Designs to Printful
- Upload your chosen design to the front side of the t-shirt in Printful.
- Optionally, add another design to the back side.
- Save the product template, and click "Add to Store".
Setting Prices and Options in Printful
- Printful allows you to select sizing, set pricing, and choose shipping settings.
- You can adjust prices either by percentage or manually.
- After making these selections, submit the product to Shopify.
Reviewing Imported Product in Shopify
- Go to your Shopify store to review and preview the imported product.
- Ensure everything looks good from the product images to the sizing charts.
- Optimize the product description and SEO settings later.
Next steps will include designing your store’s logo, optimizing the landing page, and enhancing the product pages to boost conversion rates. We're aiming to make this store successful within 12 months. Stay tuned for the next episode where we dive into design and conversion tactics!
