Celebrating Latinx Heritage Month on TikTok

TikTok is proud to recognize and honor the cultures and contributions of the Latinx community during Latinx Heritage Month. With billions of views on hashtags like #Latina, #Latino, and #Hispanic, the Latinx community has a significant influence on TikTok. The platform features over 50 Latinx artists, including top performers like Ir Sais, Bad Bunny, Rosalia, Sech, Karol G, and La Banda Gorda.

To kick off Latinx Heritage Month, TikTok introduces the first Latinx TikTok Trailblazers, who have been nominated by the community as the next-generation leaders in Latinx digital entertainment. Throughout the month, TikTok will feature Latinx creators and music artists in popular TikTok LIVE programs such as "Learn on TikTok," "Dinner With Me," and "Sound Off." Exciting events include celebrating family traditions through food with Gaby Melian, discussing Latinx culture with La La Anthony, and a special LIVE appearance by Jennifer Lopez.

In addition to entertainment, TikTok is committed to supporting and uplifting the Latinx community in meaningful ways. The platform has partnered with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and added HHF to the TikTok Donation Stickers program. TikTok is also providing a $750,000 grant to support HHF's COVID-19 community relief efforts, recognizing the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Latinx populations.

To further support Latinx music artists, TikTok has curated a special Sounds page featuring a diverse range of Latinx demographics and music genres. TikTok has also created TikTok Latinx Heritage Month playlists on their official Spotify and Apple Music TikTok accounts, showcasing songs from popular and emerging Latinx artists on the platform.
