TikTok #MyPride: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Trailblazers

What sets TikTok apart is its ability to provide a space for creativity and authenticity. It celebrates individuals for being true to themselves in all aspects. In a time where LGBTQ+ rights are still vulnerable, it is crucial to amplify the voices and stories of those who are advocating for acceptance and creating a world where everyone can freely express their identity and love who they choose.

TikTok #MyPride is a week-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, promoting self-love and inclusivity while inspiring others globally. To honor the trailblazers in the LGBTQ+ community, TikTok has partnered with FLAUNT to announce the inaugural TikTok Trailblazers. These 25 creators are redefining self-pride and living their lives authentically. From breaking stereotypes to pushing boundaries in music and sports, these honorees have been nominated by their peers for their positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community.

The TikTok Trailblazers include individuals like Alex (@gothboithrift), who uses TikTok to raise visibility for the transgender community, and Crissa Jackson (@crissa_ace), one of the first females to play on the Harlem Globetrotters, inspiring young LGBTQ+ individuals to pursue their dreams.

TikTok #MyPride will also feature special live streams co-hosted by TikTok Trailblazers and guests like Kim Petras and Hayley Kiyoko, providing a platform for creativity and authenticity.

Additionally, TikTok has created a series of #MyPride creative effects to encourage users to show their support. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, TikTok is donating $3 million to LGBTQ+ organizations that provide essential resources and support to the community. By adding a Donation Sticker to their videos, users can also contribute to organizations like GLAAD and The Trevor Project.
