TikTok's Green Screen Video Effect

TikTok is a platform that provides users with innovative tools to express themselves creatively and authentically. Due to its popularity, we have recently introduced an evolved version called Green Screen Video. This new feature allows users to shoot videos with a selected video playing in the background, a first on any mobile video platform. Users can trim up to 60 seconds of a video from their phone's album to use as a background.

To use the Green Screen Video effect, simply open the app, create a video, select "Effects," look for the #greenscreenvideo icon under the "Trending" section, choose a video from your phone's album as the background, and hit record.

Since gaining access to this feature, TikTok creators have been taking full advantage of it by adding themselves into various videos and bringing their backgrounds to life. They are still experimenting with the effect, and we are excited to see what they come up with next.
