\$ 11,000 for 1 million views—that's what all these TikTok gurus are saying, but is that actually true? For 30 days, I tried the TikTok Creativity Program Beta to see what all the hype is about. Many claim it pays an RPM of up to \$ 1 or more, which could mean \$ 11,000 for 1 million views. Running several faceless YouTube automation channels, I decided to apply the same principles to TikTok. I call this process TikTok automation, outsourcing all parts of video creation to freelancers or AI.

Originally, I aimed to earn at least \$ 500, but spoiler alert: I made quite a bit more. Stay tuned to the end because I will reveal exactly how much I made in 30 days. Without further ado, here are the exact steps I took so you can recreate my success.

### Step 1: Pick a Niche

The first and most crucial part of the process was selecting a niche. I needed to find one that was:

1. Faceless and could be easily outsourced to AI or an editor.
2. Had a large potential viewer base.

Animal videos are very popular on TikTok, from heartwarming cat videos to ferocious lions. I chose the more specific niche of cute mammals that can be kept as pets due to my previous experience running a successful YouTube automation channel in this area.

### Step 2: Find Your Competitors

This step is easy but incredibly crucial. Find the top players in your niche and take inspiration from their most viral topics and hooks. I followed successful accounts making videos about cute pets and analyzed their posting patterns.

### Step 3: Make an AI Script

Instead of hiring a scriptwriter and voiceover artist, I utilized AI—ChatGPT for creating scripts and 11Labs for the voiceover. I created a consistent prompt for all my videos and picked the most popular AI voice.

### Step 4: Edit the Videos

You can either edit the videos yourself or hire an editor on platforms like Fiverr or Upwork for about \$ 5 per video. I chose to hire an editor, creating a standard operating procedure to streamline the video creation process.

### Step 5: Post

To maximize my chances of going viral quickly, I posted daily and followed a strict posting schedule. You can easily find the best posting times for your timezone online. While posting time may not matter in the long term, it definitely helps in the short term.

### Getting Accepted into the Program

Here are the requirements for the TikTok Creativity Program:

At first, my views tanked after getting accepted into the program, earning only a few dollars daily. However, about five days in, my videos started getting more traction. One video, a "Top 3 cat breeds" video, gained immense popularity, earning me hundreds of dollars per day. By the end of the 30 days, I had 64,000 followers and 21 million views but made just under \$ 3,000.

### Real Earnings vs. Perceived Earnings

Many TikTok gurus claim that 1 million views equal \$ 1,000. However, this didn't hold true for me. Here are the factors affecting my earnings:

- Not all views were eligible under the program.
- TikTok pays for "qualified views," so only those who watched 5 seconds or more contribute.
- My RPM was less than \$ 1, averaging \$ 0.40.

This means I earned about \$ 200 per million views, not \$ 1,000. The niche and audience location also affected my RPM significantly.
