Once your TikTok account has been accepted for monetization, which may take anywhere from an hour to two to three days after application, you will receive an email or message confirmation. In my case, I got accepted within half an hour. Here’s what to do next:

  1. Click on "View More" in the message.
  2. Navigate to "Creator Tools" and click on "Creativity Beta Program".
  3. You will be directed to your dashboard.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity

If your monetization is approved within two to three days, proceed with the following identity verification steps:

  1. You will see an option to "Verify Identity." Click on it.
  2. Choose the type of ID you will upload such as ID card, passport, or whatever document you used initially for signing up on TikTok. Ensure your name and date of birth match your ID.

Step 3: Selecting the ID Type

  1. Choose your country, for example, Pakistan.
  2. You will find options like National ID card and driver's license. Select "National Identity Card" and click "Next."

Step 4: Uploading the ID

  1. A sample image will show you how to take a clear photo of your ID.
  2. Click "Start" to begin the scan.
  3. Make sure your ID card is in a clean spot and scan the front side using your camera. The system will automatically detect and confirm the details.
  4. Next, scan the back side of the ID card similarly. The system will auto-detect it.
  5. Once scanned, click on "Complete" to finish the process.
  6. Check the image quality. If it is clear and successful, click "Continue."

Step 5: Submitting Your Details

  1. Enter your full legal name in your native language and your date of birth as listed on your ID.
  2. Submit these details by clicking "Submit". The information will go under review.
  3. Once done, click "Finished" (Done).

Step 6: Setting up Payment

After successful identity verification, proceed to set up your payment method. You can add PayPal, but remember, PayPal is not operational in Pakistan. Therefore, you can use any trusted PayPal account to receive your payments.
