Tiktok creator fund worth it or not explained!

Tiktok Creator Fund Worth It or Not Explained! ?

Hey there, it's RJ here! Welcome to my channel, "Make Money Online with RJ," where I share insights on making money online through affiliate marketing. Today, I'm diving into whether TikTok's Creator Fund is worth it and how it affects your account.

How it Started

On my TikTok account, @rj.pandy, I started focusing on helping people learn how to make money online. Around two to three months ago, I hit 22.9k followers and decided to enroll in the TikTok Creator Fund.

Initial Gains

After joining, I started to earn some money—around $ 40-50 so far. Initially, the prospect seemed exciting, but I began to notice some changes in my account's performance.

The Decline in Engagement

Before joining the Creator Fund, my videos regularly appeared on the "For You" page, garnering high views ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands. For instance:

  • A video with 78,000 views
  • One with 282,000 views
  • Another with 60,000 views

However, post joining the Creator Fund, my view count plummeted significantly. Newer videos were receiving almost no views, some as low as 400-500.

What’s Happening?

It seems TikTok is less inclined to push videos from Creator Fund participants onto the "For You" page. This has led to almost zero new followers for me over the last month, despite regular content creation.

Should You Join the Creator Fund?

If you're contemplating joining the Creator Fund after hitting 10,000 followers, here’s my two cents:

  1. Grow Your Followers: Aim for at least 100,000 followers before considering the Creator Fund.
  2. Personal Experience: This observation may differ across accounts. It’s worth experimenting with a high follower count.

My Main Income Source

Although my TikTok performance has been affected, I rely on affiliate marketing for my primary income. With an extensive understanding of this field, I don't depend on TikTok or YouTube for earnings.

Final Thoughts

For those of you eyeing the Creator Fund, take my experience as a cautionary tale. Consider growing your account well beyond 10,000 followers to minimize potential adverse impacts.
