TikTok Fashion Month Returns with a Focus on the Authentic and Creative Community
TikTok Fashion Month is back, celebrating the authentic and creative TikTok community. From now until March 18th, fashion houses, creators, celebrities, and our community are invited to bring the excitement of the runway to TikTok. Through live streams, hashtags, and partnerships with industry leaders like IMG, we will provide the access our community craves while amplifying diverse voices in fashion.
Last year, TikTok Fashion Month gave the community a front row seat to runway shows and luxury fashion from the comfort of their homes. This year, we aim to create an even more inclusive experience that prioritizes our community and creators. This Fashion Month will not only celebrate fashion, but also diverse designers, models, and creators, promoting inclusivity within the fashion industry.
During this period, we will host a series of live streams featuring runway shows and moments with fashion icons and creators. Additionally, we have partnered with global leaders in fashion such as IMG, Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, and the British Fashion Council to provide premiere access to fashion weeks around the world.
On March 18th, the TikTok Runway Finale will close out Fashion Month, showcasing a diverse range of designers, models, and creators. Hosted by Frankie Jonas, the virtual runway live stream will feature collections from renowned Black designers Victor Glemaud and Carrots By Anwar Carrots, as well as TikTok creator Joe Ando. The runway will be modeled by a group of creators, athletes, and WNBA players, representing size inclusivity, diversity, and female athletes in fashion.
Throughout Fashion Month, the TikTok community is encouraged to participate by sharing their best runway looks, style tips, and more using hashtags such as #TikTokFashionMonth, #Upcycling, #OnTheRunway, and #StyleHacks. We believe that the meaning and perception of luxury fashion is evolving, and we are excited to see the TikTok community drive creativity, inclusion, and authenticity in fashion once again.
