TikTok has announced a multi-year partnership with the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC, becoming the official jersey sleeve partner for both teams in 2021. This groundbreaking joint patch sponsorship aims to provide equal representation and recognition for female players.

The partnership will also support local communities in need through donations from each Timbers and Thorns jersey sold, as well as from four unique scarves released by the clubs throughout the year. This aligns with TikTok's global TikTok For Good initiative.

TikTok has become a home for soccer fans everywhere, with billions of views on soccer-related content. The platform has also partnered with UEFA EURO 2020, becoming the first digital entertainment platform to sponsor a major international tournament for UEFA.

Through the partnership with the Portland Timbers and Thorns, TikTok is giving its community even more access to premium soccer content. Both teams have launched official TikTok accounts and will produce weekly content, including highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, in-match moments, mascots, and fan reactions. Players like Crystal Dunn and Eryk Williamson will also create exclusive content on the platform.
