TikTok Partners with UFC to Bring Exclusive Livestream Content to Sports Fans

TikTok has announced a multi-year partnership with UFC, the world's premier mixed martial arts organization, to deliver exclusive livestream content for UFC fans worldwide. The partnership will provide access to pre-and post-fight content, behind-the-scenes footage, engagement with UFC athletes, and other exclusive content executions.

With over 6.3 million followers, UFC has become the third most-followed sports league on TikTok since joining the platform in October 2019. Building on this success, UFC will dedicate resources at their Las Vegas headquarters to provide the TikTok community with unprecedented access and bring them closer to UFC than ever before.

David Shaw, UFC Senior Vice President of International and Content, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it is a tremendous addition to UFC's content distribution ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of reaching a diverse, global audience and believes that TikTok's innovative approach to content consumption aligns perfectly with UFC's goals.

Harish Sarma, Director of Global Strategic Partnerships at TikTok, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He highlighted the increasing demand from sports fans for up-close-and-personal moments that they are missing by not attending live events. Through this collaboration, TikTok aims to bring the action and excitement of UFC both inside and outside the Octagon to its users.

The partnership between UFC and TikTok will officially kick off this week with content created around UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BLAYDES vs. LEWIS on Saturday, February 20, live from UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Fans can tune into @UFC on TikTok LIVE to catch compelling moments from the event.
