### I Finally Made A Profit In Dropshipping (Tiktok Organic)

In the past two months, I’ve been trying my hand at dropshipping with little to no success. In my first attempt, I didn’t make any sales and wasted a lot of money on ads. My hopes were high for the second attempt, but although I made three sales, the ad costs outweighed the sales, resulting in no profit. Determined not to let my viewers down, I decided to give it my all and work harder.

In my previous video, I tried to dropship a mushroom lamp, along with a few upsells and other products in my store. However, despite my efforts, the product didn't take off. Realizing that spending so much money on ads wasn't sustainable, I decided to learn the metrics with TikTok organic traffic, enabling me to test the market without wasting money. Crafting organic TikTok videos was challenging, especially since I couldn’t find any similar videos to replicate. After a series of underperforming videos, I concluded that creating something from scratch without a proven concept was difficult. Consequently, I decided to drop the product and do more research.

After days of searching, I randomly scrolled on TikTok and stumbled upon a video with millions of views and great engagement. Intrigued, I investigated the product further on AliExpress and found that it was not widely available, with only two sellers and no reviews. This discovery felt like serendipity, and I decided to order the product. However, the shipping time was a month, and to my dismay, the product never arrived. Determined not to give up, I searched for the product elsewhere, eventually finding a private agent who promised to ship it in 5 to 14 days. The agent confirmed that the product was performing well, and true to his word, it arrived in ten days.

Upon receiving the product, I set up all my social media platforms: YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. My goal was to post three to five videos daily. The packaging was subpar, and I had to address this with my private agent for future shipments. A week into posting organically, I saw promising results. Despite Instagram's disappointing performance with low engagement, YouTube surprised me with several videos garnering thousands of views. TikTok also performed well, with some videos hitting almost 100K views.

However, an experiment with a secondary TikTok page, where I bought 1K followers, turned out to be a disaster. The followers dropped to 300 the next day, confirming that buying followers was not a viable strategy.

In total, after a week of intensive organic posting, I made 186 Euros in sales. It was my first profit, albeit with a low conversion rate of 0.5%. I continued learning and tweaking my approach, understanding that the process involves constant learning and adaptation.

### I Tried The Amazon Affiliate Side Hustle (How Much I Made)

The other day, I set up my Amazon affiliate account, picked out some viral products, created meme-style posts for the products, and then scheduled those posts to be shared with some large social media audiences. Let's see how much we've made so far.

One thing that I know impacted our results is that our links, unfortunately, open up in a web browser instead of the Amazon app. You can see here that over about seven to eight days, we had over six thousand clicks, 66 ordered items, a conversion rate of one percent, and total revenue of over a thousand dollars. Our affiliate income, or what we take home, was \$ 53.99. 

The best part is I set it up, and after that, I haven't had to do anything. Now, if I were to optimize this further, I would look at which items sold the best and find other similar items to promote to these same audiences.

The downside to the Amazon affiliate program that I've found is that their commission rates are ridiculously low for most categories, like three to four percent. In contrast, a lot of other programs offer 15 percent or more, which in this case would have given us at least \$ 150 in affiliate earnings on our \$ 1,000 in revenue.

I think this proves that affiliate marketing can work and be scaled. But I'd recommend building a niche audience on social media or a blog and then figuring out what you can sell to them.

## Launching TikTok Ads

1. **Create Campaign**:
   - Select "Conversion" for campaign objective, targeting website conversions.
   - Budget: \$ 50.
   - Optimize for "Complete Payment" to maximize sales.
   
2. **Ad Targeting**:
   - Location: United States and Canada.
   - Gender: Female.
   - Age: 18+.

3. **Scheduling & Uploading Creatives**:
   - We downloaded the top five most viewed fleece leggings videos on TikTok and ensured they didn't mention any competitors like Amazon.
   - Uploaded and added text overlays with enticing messages: “Only 13 left in stock,” “50% off + Free Shipping,” etc.
   - Set ads to run from 6 AM to midnight the next day.

4. **Ad Duplication**: Created nine duplicates of our ad set to maximize reach.

## Results

After 24 hours of running the ads:

- **Orders**: We secured three orders totaling \$ 139 in revenue.
- **Costs**: \$ 50 on ads and the rest on shipping, leading to \$ 91 in total expenses.
- **Profit**: Net profit of \$ 48.49, with a net margin of 34.43%.

## Introduction

For the past 30 days, I have been taking creatine. On day one, I weighed in at 160 pounds. I was super nervous to start because I’d never taken any type of supplements before besides protein powder. So, I made sure to do my research beforehand and found out that the best results would most likely come from micronized creatine powder. I chose to get it from ON, a brand I trust, since I’ve been using their protein powder for years. I thought this was the safest way to ensure a good quality creatine, so I went for it.

Taking creatine involves a loading stage where you have to saturate your muscles. You can do this faster by taking more of it or spread out the process over a longer period. I wanted the best results in 30 days, so I saturated my muscles quicker by taking more in a short time and then gradually decreasing. The plan was to take about 20 grams of creatine daily, with 10 grams before my workout and 10 after, for the first five to seven days. After that, I would drop down to about 5 grams of creatine every day.

Day one saw me make my creatine drink and plan to go to the gym, only to find out that all the gyms were closed due to the coronavirus. This was a huge bummer because I didn’t have a ton of workout equipment at home, but I just had to make things work. During that first workout, I felt incredibly strong -- it could have been a placebo effect or maybe the creatine at work.

After my workout, I took another 10 grams of creatine. My plan was to continue this for the next five days as I mentioned, but by day two, I found it challenging to keep up with consuming two protein shakes and 20 grams of creatine. By day three, I reduced it to 10 grams of creatine and one protein shake, then worked out afterward. I maintained this for 10 days out of the 30. Starting the 11th day, I reduced my intake to 3-5 grams of creatine daily with one protein shake.

Through consistent home workouts, even though I was limited by less equipment due to the coronavirus, I felt that the creatine made a difference. Before starting creatine, my max bench was 225 pounds, which was a struggle. By March 29th, I benched 226 pounds easily and felt I could even do more. Aesthetically, my muscles grew quite a bit over the month, especially noticeable in my biceps and chest. This was interesting because my workouts at home were less intense due to the lack of needed equipment.

I did not suffer any hair loss, which some people are scared about with creatine. Apparently, it can cause hair loss in some, but that did not occur for me. Given the current hype around TikTok, it seemed easier than ever to make a significant income using this platform. Could a complete beginner like me really achieve this? ## Creating the New Account

With the help of ChatGPT, I named the new brand Football Heavens and designed a logo on Canva. I sought inspiration from TikTok and planned my approach to streamline the content creation process. For ideas, I used AI, but wrote the scripts myself to ensure high viewer retention, before editing the videos.

## Days 8-24

After posting my first video about the stolen World Cup trophy, I continued making new videos daily. Despite putting significant effort into high-quality content, results were still underwhelming, with only a few thousand views overall. The workload was exhausting compared to the results.

## Day 25 - Optimization

I researched new strategies, including re-editing existing content for better engagement. Analyzing retention metrics, I identified where viewers dropped off and enhanced those moments with sound effects and animations. Yet, even with these optimizations, no significant virality occurred.

## The Final Day

On the last day, I decided to create one final video incorporating everything I'd learned. After writing the script and converting it to audio, I meticulously edited the video with precise graphics and animations. I posted the video, hoping it would be the breakthrough I needed.

After 30 days, my final video only managed 2.8K views. I didn't achieve my goal of 100K followers or significant income. Despite following widely recommended strategies, my efforts did not yield the expected results. Many people may not be aware that TikTok has its own inbuilt monetization program called the Creator Fund. To be eligible for this fund, users need to meet the following criteria:

Although TikTok does not officially disclose how much it pays creators, studies suggest that the payment ranges anywhere from 2 to 4 cents per 1,000 views. So, how much can one expect to earn for a million views on the platform?

On December 11th, I accumulated 951,000 views, for which TikTok paid me £16.69. This translates to approximately 1.75 pence (or 2.1 cents) per 1,000 views.
