## Introduction

I tried every niche on TikTok's creativity program so you don't have to. You will see what are the most common mistakes that beginners make and how to get something like this as soon as possible. If you don't use these secrets that I'm about to reveal, you will be stuck on 200 views like most of you already are. By the way, I will also give you a list of the top 10 niches to start today later in the article.

If you don't know what the TikTok creativity program is, let me explain it to you quickly. For every million views on a video longer than one minute, you get \$ 1,000. But there is a catch; you have to check all of these boxes: have 100,000 views, 10,000 followers, be 18 years or older, and be from one of these countries. If you are not from one of these countries, the only solution is to get a SIM card from there. You can order it online; you don't need to go there and come back, so TikTok will think that you are living there. At least, that worked for me.

And now to the fun part: when my card arrived, I made two accounts, one in the podcast niche for Fresh and Fit Podcast and one in the police body cam. For the police niche, I chose the juiciest topic—female suspects often try to flirt with police officers to avoid being arrested. On the first day, I posted three videos to each page. It was super painful to go through that podcast, and that's why I tried this app, Opus Clips, that everybody else is talking about. Find a YouTube video you want to clip up into Opus Pro and click get clip; it creates 25 short-form pieces of content instantly. But it sucks so much; you wouldn’t get more than two views on the video. It has to be done the hard way. We're all being tested, and that road to success is a bumpy road.

So when I opened TikTok the next day, I got less than 1,000 views. If I was monetized, I would be earning \$ 1 for that. Then I created two more pages, one for reposting MrBeast content because he said, "Flip my videos, put them on TikTok, I don't care," and one for Reddit stories because they were going viral. And who doesn’t like a good Reddit story? My stepmom was watching this super cool guy on YouTube, jazz asmin Buck. She subscribed to his channel, and the next day, we became billionaires! Trust me, bro.

At the end of day two, I posted 10 videos, and one video from the police page from yesterday already had 7,000 views, so I was super hyped for the next day. When I opened TikTok the next day, I was expecting at least 1 million views, but it didn’t go that well. We just got 50,000 views on that police body cam video, and the other ones performed pretty bad. So I kept being consistent and improving the quality on every next video, but at the end of the week, the results completely shocked me. I was experimenting too much with different styles, and I almost got into different niches, but still, I couldn’t get more than 1,000 views on the videos. This was because I was making the most common beginner mistakes. I will show you how to avoid them after we check the results.

So let's start from the worst page: MrBeast. This is what most of your pages look like, probably posting a ton of videos and not putting any effort into them. Next is Reddit. I was experimenting with totally different stories that should be in separate niches, and honestly, if you are starting a Reddit page, you should expect something like this on your first 50 videos at least. The second best was the podcast, Fresh and Fit. But that doesn’t mean it was good. I was spending too much time editing because I wanted to stand out and ended up looking the same as every other page. The best one was the police body cam because it was less saturated, and I put much more effort into choosing those clips. But I still didn't get monetized in one week, so I stopped posting on it. But did I give up? No. I made another page in one of these niches that you can access here or here. All I ask in return is to hit the like button or subscribe.

In this article, we discuss a critical vulnerability that was discovered in TikTok's platform, known as an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) or Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA). This vulnerability allowed for unauthorized account changes by manipulating HTTP requests.

## Description of Vulnerability

The vulnerability, referred to as IDOR, involves exploiting the HTTP requests. By capturing these requests and swapping out the user IDs present in them, an attacker could force link a victim's account to their own.

### Manipulation of HTTP Request

This was accomplished by manipulating the HTTP request captured during the interaction with TikTok. By swapping out user IDs present in the request, unauthorized access was achieved.

### Obtaining Open ID

Acquiring someone's Open ID is more complicated than a user ID but still possible. It can be accessed via the developer API, which provided public information.

## Attack Scenario

Once an attacker obtained the Open ID of a victim, they could simply swap out the user IDs, forcing the victim's account to link to the attacker's account. This could result in unauthorized changes performed on the victim's account.

### Forced Changes

Due to pairing process, the user's display name would forcibly change to the attacker's display name. This issue affected any TikTok account, including those run by TikTok itself.

### Social Engineering Risks

Since the paired account appears authorized, attackers could potentially use social engineering techniques to convince TikTok support to reset the account, believing the attacker was the legitimate owner.

## Outcome

After reporting this vulnerability to TikTok, the severity of the issue was recognized, and a reward of \$ 3,000 was given as part of their bug bounty program.

## Conclusion

This significant vulnerability highlights the importance of robust security measures, particularly in preventing IDOR attacks. Continuous monitoring and security reviews are vital to protect user accounts from unauthorized changes.

### Starting Fresh

If you’re trying to blow up on TikTok and you’ve had an account for a while, my advice would be to start fresh with a new account. I did it four different times until I got it right. While some people might have a video blow up after a long time, starting fresh can increase your odds.

### Have a Plan

Wise people say, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” So, plan before building your TikTok account. Apart from having a new account, you need to have a niche. 

### Niching Down

You need to focus on two things when niching down: either entertain or provide value. I chose to provide value by teaching people how to pose. But if you want to entertain through comedy or any other route, that works too. You don’t have to be limited, but try to stay within the same bracket.

### Consistent Posting

Posting at least three times a day is essential for growth. It’s a lot, but if you want to grow, you must be ready to put in the work. I would set aside a day to record all my content for the week to ensure I had at least 21 videos. You can also post up to six videos a day for faster growth.

### Hashtags and Sounds

Regarding hashtags, I’ve seen mixed opinions, but I always include hashtags in my videos to let TikTok know what my video is about. I use hashtags related to my content, like #posesforpictures and #howtopose. 

For sounds, use popular sounds between 20,000 and 100,000 videos. This range is the sweet spot for sounds that are blowing up or are about to become trends.

### Extra Tips

1. **Research:** Look for videos in your niche with the most likes over a certain period, analyze what works, and implement those aspects into your videos.
2. **Interactive Elements:** Encourage comments by styling yourself in a way that gets people talking about your outfit or background elements.
3. **Quality:** Make sure your video quality matches or exceeds the quality of viral videos in your niche. Use full-body shots and the back camera of your iPhone for the best results.
4. **Engage:** Leave comments on other people's videos. This engages the algorithm and can even make you go viral if your comment gains traction.
