But I will warn you, if you don't adapt to these four changes, like the type of engagement they currently want you to get or the features they want you to use, you probably already see a decrease in views from that. However, all you have to do is adapt to these four changes and it's going to skyrocket your reach just like this creator who's been able to gain over 100,000 followers since these changes occurred. If you adapt to them, the same thing can happen to you.

#### Change #1: Comments Matter More Than Ever

Comments now matter more than ever before on TikTok. It’s not just about getting random emojis or words; there needs to be a conversation actually happening in the comment section related to your post. TikTok now takes comments into account when ranking your content for SEO. If you want your videos to rank higher in TikTok search, you need to:
- Get people commenting specific keywords related to your content.
- Reply with those keywords to provoke further keyword use.
- Ensure keywords appear in the transcription, hook, and description.
- Create various lengths of content to meet different viewer needs.

#### Change #2: Going Live Matters More

TikTok is significantly pushing creators who go live more often. Going live increases your followers and views because:
- TikTok sees people spending more time on your page.
- Your live streams make all your other content get pushed even more.
- You get to show up in the live feed prominently.
