How I Grew My Small Business TikTok by 20,000 in One Week: My Strategy for TikTok

Welcome back to my channel, guys! If you're new here, hello! My name is Lauren and in today's video, I am thrilled to share with you something super exciting. I have been able to grow my small business on TikTok from just 300 followers to over 20,000 new followers in less than a week. I'm still blown away by this success, so I had to record a video and share my exact strategy with all of you.

The most crucial thing you need to know is that this growth in followers has significantly increased my sales. I have had my highest sales days ever in any of my small businesses, three days in a row. It's mind-blowing! So, without further ado, let's dive into my exact strategy that has allowed me to blow up and go viral overnight.

High-Quality Content with iPhone 13 Pro Max

The first thing I did was ensure that I had high-quality content. I used the iPhone 13 Pro Max to film all of my TikTok videos because it delivers amazing quality. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also great and slightly more affordable. It's crucial to have the recording settings set to the highest possible, such as 4K and 60 frames per second. This high-quality content stands out on TikTok, and people love it.

Short Videos for Maximum Engagement

I made sure to keep my videos short, aiming for under 15 seconds, preferably under 12 seconds. Shorter videos make it easier for people to watch them repeatedly before they continue scrolling. This increases the views and encourages TikTok to push out the content to the "For You" page, resulting in more followers.

One of the most important parts of my strategy was using trending sounds. I followed accounts of TikTok professionals who constantly shared the latest trends and how to capitalize on them. By catching the trends early and creating relevant content with these trending sounds, I was able to go viral more easily. These accounts saved me time and research, making it simpler to create viral content.

I used hashtags on every TikTok video I uploaded. However, I focused on niche-related hashtags and limited them to three to five per video. For example, as a digital planner business, I included hashtags like #digitalplanner and #digitalplanning. This ensured my content appeared in front of people interested in those topics and helped TikTok label and show my videos to the right audience.

Consistent Multiple Uploads a Day

I uploaded multiple times a day, aiming for three to five videos. This doesn't mean creating new content from scratch each time. Instead, I repurposed clips I had previously recorded related to my digital planner business. By reusing these clips, I could quickly create multiple videos using trending sounds and hashtags. The more content you share, the better your chances of getting in front of more people and gaining followers.

Engaging with Comments

I made it a point to respond to every comment on my videos. This doubled the engagement on my videos and showed TikTok that people were interested. Responding to comments also helped me showcase my products, answer questions, and direct interested users to my shop. Being interactive and engaging with every single person that commented improved my engagement rate and led to more sales.

Indirect Marketing and a Focus on Valuable Content

I focused on a less salesy approach and instead created videos centered around valuable content. Rather than actively promoting my products, I incorporated them organically into videos related to digital planning. This approach piqued viewers' interest and led them to inquire about my products, allowing me to engage with them and guide them to my shop.
